"Mitch Griess worked with our museum to develop a wonderful exhibit that features oil production history in McKenzie County, North Dakota. He meticulously developed and built a model of a drilling rig that is both artistic and accurate. When you have veteran oil industry people tell you that the model is the closest thing to the real thing they have ever seen, you know you have hit your mark! Our goal has been to create an oil exhibit for tourism and regional educational purposes for general public, students and tourists that wish to learn more about the oil industry within our community in western North Dakota. Thank you Mitch for your patience’s and your professionalism in creating and developing our exhibit at our museum!" Jan Dodge, Director, Pioneer Museum of McKenzie County
